I went to Singapore few weeks ago during my birthday weekend and did some exciting exploration in this trip. I am a fan of street art and that Singapore is a good place to capture cool #OOTD street art picture (hashtag #girls).
On the 2nd day of my Singapore trip, we went to Everton road where there are few murals hidden there. The nearest MRT to bring you to Everton Road will be Outram Park. Outram is also a place where few cool and hipster cafes hidden at. I personally went to the Populus Coffee & Food Co. before during my Ultra Singapore 2016 trip and tried their famous waffle and toast. Love the cozy ambiance but it was crowded when we were there, probably because it is the weekend.

We were walking under the hot scotching sun ray to search for those hidden street art. The first one we saw was the old tradition shop were they were "selling" dry goods, spice and salted fish.

After that, we had a hard time finding for the rest. We keep walking around the Everton Road and we couldnt find anymore. I remember we walked around the same area for like 2 to 3 times. Finally at the 40 Everton Road, we found the "Amah" and barber shop murals.

Beside Everton Road, I know that Haji Lane do have lots of street art, colourful houses where it is definitely a hipster and nice place for your Instagram pictures. Unfortunately due to my tight schedule and bad weather in Singapore, we did not go to Haji Lane in this trip. Joo Chiat, where the Peranakan Shophouses located at is also a good place to explore. The Peranakan are a unique part of Singapore history as their Chinese Ancestors married to the Malays in Malacca, leading to a distinct ethnic community with their own language, cuisine and identity.
