Red True Barbecue - Nottingham

Red True Barbecue is a new chain restaurant in Nottingham. We went there last weekend and it was crowded !! They don't take any reservation during the weekends so we have to leave our contact there to get a table. We went there around 7pm and just manage to get our table at 9pm. Red True Barbecue   is a young hipster hang out place, I will highly recommend this place. 

 
My bbq plates , Red's Pulled Pork and Slaw Plate. You can choose 2 humble side or 1 divide side. I really love this, they gave a generous portion of pulled pork and yet it taste so good. The slaw is mayo-free, top with pork crackling (which is really a bit hard for my teeth =(). For the sides, I have ordered their sweet potato corn bread which is new in their menu and 2 large onion rings. I love their corn bread so much because it really taste like those asian steam malay cakes. OMG, makes me miss home so much in this Chinese New Year festive season ;(


 My friend also ordered their bbq plates, 'Holy Trinity Plate' which is actually spicy beef, cheese and jalapeño house recipe sausage with white onion and pickle.
